I believe the body has the ability to do incredible things if we give it what it needs.  Homeopathy, natural remedies and yoga came into my life in 1996 and I haven’t looked back.  One of my passions is to share with others how to listen to our bodies and about all the wondrous healing remedies the Earth provides. I do trust that Western medicine has its place and can work in conjunction with the natural world for amazing results.  By slowing down, being patient and listening to our mind, body and soul we are capable of great things.  

My sensory journey began at age 4 with myself. I was diagnosed with Insulin Dependent Diabetes and my nervous system has been on alert every moment since. My sleep struggles began at age 10 and thus began the journey of finding ways to rest and restore to connect with sleep.  

Throughout my childcare career as a babysitter, in-home daycare owner, nanny, newborn care specialist and sleep consultant I cared for children of all walks and struggles. From sensory issues to Autism to congenital malformations to trauma, I found all these young ones had nervous system dysregulation in one form or another. These children grow up to be teenagers and adults and that doesn’t mean these struggles go away.  That’s why I have opened up my consulting to help a broader range of ages.  We ALL need support. 

Sleep is fundamental to us as humans and missing out on restorative rest impacts how to relate to life.  I have found, and will continue to search for, techniques and routines that have helped, not only myself, but others find peaceful restorative rest.
